Mr. Wallace Divine

Wallace Divine is proud Husband to Mary Ellen Divine. They have 5 children and 12 grandchildren and counting. Wallace, born in the Republic of Cameroon and Mary Ellen, have always believed that education is power and have made sure all of their children put their education first!

Wallace is a United Nations retiree since 2015 and has since continued periodically to serve the UN as a consultant. 

Education:

After primary and secondary education in Cameroon, Wallace pursued academic studies at the Wandsworth Technical College in London, later South Thames College, for Ordinary National Diploma in Business Studies with Distinction in Accountancy and General Principles of English Law . 

He then went on to the University of Dundee in Scotland for Bachelor of Administrative Studies and graduated with Master of Arts Joint-Honours in Accountancy and Economics before he migrated to Brookline Massachusetts where he married Mary Ellen.  

 

In Massachusetts, Wallace worked initially in the New England Storage Warehouse as a team member managing records for a variety of corporations and hospitals from 1981 to 1985 during which time he was hired as a part-time accountant for the Law Firm of Field and Schultz Boston from 1984 to 1985.  

He served as a staff auditor with the Accounting firm of Coopers and Lybrand of Boston from 1985 to 1986, Internal auditor at Shawmut Bank of Boston from 1986 to 1992, 

Consultant for the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 1993 to 1995, and Senior Auditor for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston from 1995 to 1997.

Lizzy Divine

Lizzy is passionate about fighting apathy by creating communications strategies to inspire action on the world's most pressing issues. She has expertise in mobilizing young people, particularly youth of color. Lizzy is currently an advocacy strategist at Blue State where she helps nonprofit clients like Planned Parenthood and Doctors Without Borders fundraise and mobilize supporters. Prior to joining Blue State, Lizzy worked at DoSomething.org, using creative framing to make complex issues such as environmental racism and food justice digestible and engaging for a Millennial/Gen Z audience. She also created and managed campaigns for Foot Locker, H&M, Jetblue, and a multitude of other Fortune 500 companies.

Lizzy graduated from NYU with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. While pursuing a M.S.C. in Strategic Communication at Columbia University, she worked as a freelance cause-marketing consultant working with SK Philanthropy, a Brooklyn-based boutique consulting firm dedicated to advising clients on humanitarian efforts, philanthropic giving, and nonprofit development. When she isn’t setting strategy, Lizzy can be found exploring Brooklyn with her partner and their dog, Hippo, and working to publish her first children’s book.

Brandon Shelton

Brandon Shelton is the current Chief Marketing Officer at Gearbubble LLC and is also the CEO of Mechanical Marketing. He graduated from UMass Dartmouth where he played basketball, was a pre-season All-american and two time All-Conference player. In his spare time he loves spending time with his wife, playing basketball and listening to podcasts.
